The B-E-S-T Christmas yet!

***CHRISTMAS JOY***

Marisa, Carson's oldest sister, made this cape for her son, Gavin. 

Is she not the best mom ever?! 

Upon putting it on, he would zooom around the room, fist pump and all.

^^just using our early morning gym time wisely...

^^even resulted to dancing in our swimmy's because doing laundry was overrated!

annnnd.. we were able to skype ELDER GARRETT on Christmas Day!!!!!!

the "Garrett Squeeze" 

 A Garrett family tradition. After family prayer, family night, or before everyone parts ways...they call for a Garrett squeeze. 

Getting married means getting another family! I could never have imagined how much I would come to truly love the Garrett fam. They have taken me in like I was one of their own since I was 16 years old. These people are some of the best people I have ever met. 

***SNOWMOBILING***

^^Nick & Chels invited the entire family snowmobiling (8 of us total)! We seriously could not stop laughing & smiling. there were some beyond-hilarious moments. I felt free. like a bird--flying through the powdered fields.

It has been awhile. I stepped away from blogging for the last month. After working nearly every hour I have been awake for the last 5 months, I needed to recharge. + WOW my little battery just about burst after this Christmas season!

we had two whole weeks. FREEDOM. Two {unbelievable} families. sunlight. snowball fights. laying peacefully awake in the warm sheets b/f getting up. the Christmas spirit. snowmobiling. plays--> Scrooge + Savior of the World, cabin time, snowboarding, gingerbread house making, puzzles, movies, {delicious} food, parties, kissing at midnight, fireworks...the list goes on. 

My heart felt it would leap from my chest. 

I feel so much love and gratitude for all of these people in my life and for Our loving Savior and His birth and life.
