OUR STORY

I'm Rachel, and he's Carson--We are the Garrett's.

I met Carson when I was 16  years old. We were assigned sit next to each other in math class. I thought he was the cutest thing ever. I didn't think anything would come of it. Quickly, we became best friends. From sledding in the winters to cruisin' in his little pickup, Cowen, to rope swings in the hot summers. Those next 2 1/2 years, we were inseparable.

Shortly after graduation, we went our separate ways. He served a two-year LDS mission in the little country of Poland. I went to college. We wrote letters. After years filled with love, heartache, and travels, we finally reunited--it was as if we never separated. A year later, reality became better than any dream and we tied the knot with a beautiful winter wedding.  We created this blog to document our new life together--with genuine honesty and optimism.
