It's been ages...life is so very busy at the moment. we have been running around like crazies for weeks now.
But I must say, humor keeps us--Garretts--sane!
Between an intense web analytics competition, 300 high school students (whom I adore + get little sleep from!), full school/work load, callings, intramural games, curriculum prepping, meetings, (fun) spur of the moment road trips to St. George and Vegas--> we have definitely stayed busy. Last night, Carson did not go to bed until 6am...literally, he worked all through the night. I didn't realize how far the little moments of silliness and humor go--> impersonations, jokes, dance offs, belting the entire Shania Twain cd in the car [Man I Feel Like a Woman, rocks!], hilarious text messages + vids, made up songs... really keep us upbeat while we go, go, go.
No matter where we are in life, I hope we can all find a reason to let ourselves really, truly laugh--for just a few seconds--to remind us that each day is a gift!
